Landscape Division Confessions of Successful Doubt and Integration of 2020

I was able to complete the gravel job. Once I had arrived I explain to the client how I could not find a wheel barrel anywhere. She told me that they had a wheel barrel and that I can use it. Perfect! Now I can continue earning, without having to invest $100 that I thought on a wheel barrel or $30 on a scoop shovel. I already have a shovel so no worries on investing into a shovel. Here's proof of a job well done.

Some jobs require heavy duty man power.

With excellent marketing skills I was able to not only accomplish this Intermediate level job, but was also able to establish a system that I like to call the five for general. I'll break it down for you right now. This is a value of at least $10,000 or more

Step #1 Be in control of the removal of the heavy material. Also have terms and conditions with the individual who wants to remove the heavy material, to pay you to do it. Your estimate to them for removing your heavy material $1000.

Step #2 Establish a separate buyer who would like to purchase the heavy material. Charge them $1000 for the material itself.

Step #3 Establish a fee for transporting the heavy material. Let's say the cost of $600 to move. Find somebody with a truck and loading equipment to need it for $400 and profit $200.

The idea is to earn profit on every action that you take in each step.

Step #4 Get in on the project for installing the heavy material. If there are any other required tasks he said he will keep us in your estimate for the project. Just another earning point.

Step #5 Establish some terms and conditions with the project coordinator on doing some residual routine maintenance to keep the installation up to perfection.

In addition to the thousand dollars that I had earned on the rock removal I had also done some simple yard maintenance for an additional $200. I did the maintenance while a person I hired proceeded to move the rock. Excellent marketing skills by selecting somebody to move the rock for free. I figured it's free, and somebody else can come up off some quality rock, but I can save expense. Otherwise it's similar to step three in the five star general formula, where I pay somebody else to transport it. Where to transpot it? I do not know. What I do know however, it would cut into profits. And not the wisest route to go.

Support phone number is 520-443-0607 albertduttonlandscaping@gmail.com This next segment is for a job that I did that in September 2020. The homeowner asked me to come back two months later. Calling to confirm the appointment I realize that I had lost the contact information. My solution would be to knock on the door and let them know why I had missed the appointment and if we could reschedule. We plan for me to come by the next day, which was the day before Thanksgiving. I was able to get it done in the nick of time.

Not only was I able to preserve the client, but was also able to earn an extra hundred dollars. I would also like to mention that I have a colleague that was in a similar situation. He put his business card on the door, hoping they will contact him and regards to setting up a time and day to work. I would've knocked on the door to make the most of the moment. That is the connection I had made at that moment. By watching others make an effort, but not a full effort. Which I feel is a poor choice. Selfie At Kevins Slot Brush and Bulky Segmant Marteen seeing my craigslist post after not teaming up for 5 months. I have developed a fairly useful strategy when it comes to placing flyers on potential clients doors. In this section I will explain to you some of the techniques that I utilize while placing fliers. Having a flier tracking list is proper to keep score of the areas that hit.

Usually when I am working a yard, I will distribute fliers at the same time. 4 hours on a yard equals four potential hours to flier. I can either pay someone about $50 to do it, or just do it myself. I like to do it on roller blades to make process go faster. Plus people think it's awesome to see someone with such energy.

Here are some photos from a job completed with a colleague. This is something that I call Joint Venture. I have been able to show them how to market the same service and gain clients on their end. These are clients that may not have came through my funnel or phone line. This still gives me an opportunity to work and earn income, but not as much as if they were to come through my phone line. For example out of $200, I was paid $60. It took up about six hours on my time, and also had to haul a load. Still an opportunity to earn income so not good to complain about it.

In these next series of photos you will see a value of $300-$500 in the form of a gift from a friend. This friend and I had to get back in third grade. Overtime common friends get separated as schools sweats up. We had reconnected somewhere around 2017 where we did a landscape job together for one of my clients. He had his own landscape business going, so I understand why we didn't work any additional jobs together. I am very thankful that he blessed me with the trailer, and has faith that I will use the trailer for many more miles. This is now an asset in play. Since I'm not going to sell it, I could either utilize it for service and haul loads with it. Or I could rent it out on a daily basis. I could also turn it into a hot dog cart. So three utilizations with it. Either way, it gives me something to work with.

This is income that I can earn and grow as I see it from there. This is the financial part of strategizing with in this business model.

There's a good old saying what came first the chicken or the egg. In this next section I will explain that the chicken came before the egg. The chicken being my truck and the egg being the trailer. So an outside investor told me that they are willing to stand to thousand dollars on a truck to put in to get all of this and for landscaping. This set up to be paid off over time at a low payment rate. Also through a private party and private investor. So I post an ad in the for sale wanted section on craigslist. After about three days I got an email response. I still have the ad available for anybody who would like to use it. Just email me and ask me for the add. Anyway, I asked the individual if they could send a picture. When they did, I said up a meeting to see it the next day. After checking it out, we had to wait one additional day for the person to notorize the title. We did not test drive the vehicle, which felt like a red flag, but we still took the chance. I was also considering the fact that they're probably impulsively responding to the ad. Thinking that we have a truck and we need money, so let's make this happen. In turn I was thinking that I'm most likely getting a good running vehicle. So that day the title is notarized, my investor hands over $1300 in cash to the seller. I never had to touch the money. Amazing. And took possession immediately of the title, keys, and truck. Currently set up for $100 payments per month. There are 248k miles and I got it 8/27/2020 4 months ago. So that is 5000 miles that I have put on the vehicle since. Not bad. It also gave me the sense of independence again. To know that I dont have to rely on other people to fulfill my tasks. I have only had to replace the radiator hose, water pump, and alternator to see her running strong. I also replace two back tires with new tires.

Sometimes during a joint venture job I have to pick up the slack. Here is a small Sunday job where I submitted the photos over to the boss, because his phone died. I guess I was reinforcement for marketing that day and also earned $30. Yoi can see the boss of that particular venture in the photo.

As I had suggested before, joint ventures don't always pay you the most, but will keep you afloat. I did earn $60 on one job and $30 on another. There were a few $50 and maybe a $100 but all in all I can earn more outside of that particular business model.

I have also served as transport to simple maintenances. This is usually down to go if you don't have a vehicle to get to work, and don't want to pay out too much of their $75 or so. I made $20 one day hust being transport. I also handed out about 100 flyers in that same neighborhood, and landed a paver estimate. Needless to say the lady was being cheap so we could not move forward.

For recruiting and training purpose. Here is a short clip on how to flier door to door.
